Prevention Institute participated in the California IPV and Health Policy Leadership Cohort and explored policy and practice changes to move upstream and address community-level factors contributing to intimate partner violence (IPV). This brief shares recommendations to address IPV prevention through ongoing planning, implementation, and evaluation processes within the health and public health sectors.

We're excited to share this guest blog from our partners at the East LA Community Corporation (ELACC), celebrating last week's LA City Council vote to legalize sidewalk vending! This win for LA's street vendors -- many of whom are immigrants -- follows a decade of organizing and advocacy, and will support health and wellbeing among sidewalk vendors by recognizing the valuable role street vendors play in feeding LA and supporting vendors' economic security.
