Prevention Institute researchers talked to health-system innovators around the country to identify emerging new approaches. The pioneers we profile in this report have found surprising new ways to capture funds already in the healthcare system and redirect them to pay for population health measures that prioritize community prevention.
On April 30, 2020, the California-based ENACT Day coalition released its 2020 policy agenda, which calls for a bold vision of an equitable, community-centered California. PI developed the platform in collaboration with its ENACT Partners: Public Health Advocates, California Food Policy Advocates, CA4Health (a project of Public Health Institute), and the Center for Healthy Communities at CSU Chico.
ENACT Day is an annual advocacy day that connects community representatives with California elected officials to discuss the health and equity issues that matter most to their communities.
